Kinda let down when i pulled the cover off a Gb 142 and saw that i guess even the germans are subing out the manafucturing of there heat exchangers am i wrong please let me know ,i kinda feel that the custermers are being mis lead excepting to get a german made unit to find a korean based companies tag riveted to the heat excahnger ,they tell made in the netherlands but that tag tell me different ,espically at that price but all in all very quite unit easy install with the pre piped pump manifold great combustion # also ,the only drag is the required drain tee on the exhaust ,limits it's use for me on jobs that i cannot offset the exhaust venting to fit the tee which is alot of jobs plus i know when some one spends that kinda of money they don't want to see a tag that reads like a chinese take menu they expect a octoberfest at least or at least that what i was lead to believe kinda let me down to see the heat exchangers out sourced like that and with no mention of it from the manafactures nor distrubitors feeling mislead might as well buy a navien same company very saddened and feel like i and the HO where left out of where the units really made ,sorry for the rant clammy

    Conglomerate that makes Navien on demand water heaters. Rember that the Koreans are more like the Japanese (excellant refiners) The Chinese on the other hand still have some pirating and patent infringement issues. Free trade is not always fair trade1

    I would not be too concerned about Kyong Dong though as Buderous has found out. they are very reputable and put out high quality products!
