Radiator Air Vents

My vents have to be the 1/8" size. They're no where close to a 1/2" on the outside. Closer to 3/8" on the outside and they're all angled vents. Thanks.

Radiator Air Vents
I am looking to replace my radiator vents with Gortons. There are 2 connection sizes available, 1/8" and 1/4". Where do I take the measurement to determine which size to order? I measured the connection on one of my existing vents and it may be just a bit larger than 1/4", almost 3/8". Are the only 2 radiator sizes 1/8" & 1/4"?0 -
Those are NOMINAL pipe sizes, based very roughly on inside diameter. 1/8" pipe actually measures .405" on the outside diameter, just over 3/8". Most radiators I've seen take 1/8" NPT vents . . . at least the ones with 90 degree angle vents. 1/4" pipe actually measures over 1/2" on the outside. Most 1/4" vents have straight connectors and are for convectors, not the more typical radiators.0
