I currently have a 245,000 BTU Burnham gas steam boiler. I have 2 pressure controllers. One is L404F1367. The other is L4079B1033(high limit). I would like to find out the correct psi settings on each of these controllers so the boiler runs properly. Currently the settings are as follows:
L404F1367- main 3.5 psi, diff 1.5 psi
L4079B1033- main 9 psi
Thanks.

Thanks.

pressure settings
It depends on the system requirements and how much steam you need to fill the system. In general terms, without a system description of the sytem, your setting sound high. Some very big systems run on very little steam pressure. I generally use .5 cut in with a differencial of 1 for a 1.5 cut out. High limit should not be set higher than the rating of your vents or you will be changing them often.
