getting heat from baseboard when I shouldn't

I have an oil-fired boiler with 3-zones, each with their own circulator.
The temperature in my rooms on zone 3 are 10-15 degrees higher than what my thermostat is set for. The baseboards are warm to the touch.
The pipe above zone 3's circulator is warm, but not as hot as if the zone was being called from a thermostat. It seems to be staying warm all the time.
The circulator is slightly warm but not hot like I've experienced when a zone has been called.
I disconnected the thermostat on zone 3 and see no change.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

take a wrench and----
smack ur flo-check most likly stuck open0 -
Good call. I had one of these replaced last year on my first floor zone. Zone 3 where I'm having the trouble now is in a finished attic so I didn't think a stuck check-flow would cause hot water to travel that far up.
Not sure which valve is on zone 3, but I banged one of them (had the most oxidation and gunk build-up on it, we'll see what happens. I'll bang the other one if this doesn't work.
Probably just need to replace it.
Thanks!!!
