a staple at the end of each loop and they go in very easy.

The tubing jackets are for the expansion joints of the slab. They are split and go on very easly.

Heres a few photos of a new

garage we are doing. This is Heat-Crete (I forget the spelling). Two Inches of foam board with the tubing nubs built right in. Sure makes the install nice and quick.

    can

you walk the tube into the gaps, Scott, or is it hands and knees and mallet.

GC do the board laydown or you, and what do you cut it with?

    I'm liking it.

    I haven't, but...

...I have a sample of it sitting on the counter in my office. Neat stuff, and I can't wait to try it!

BTW, Scott, how'd ya like the game last Sunday?? ;-)

    Fasteners?

Nice photos, and great tip. It appears that there is a fastener at each loop and then some tubing jacketing on the long runs? Are these easy to assemble? Do you have to slide the jacketing on or is it split to slip over? This looks fairly simple with less bending over than normal..

  • Here's the Crete-Heat website for anyone interested.

    We have found...

that if you nest the tube to the knobs on the outside radius, no staples are required. The tendency is to want to pull the tube away from the knobs and this will result in the tube wanting to pop up on the corners. Pictures on how this should look for each width of tube spacing is on our web site.

Thanks all for your continued support.

    PAP works nicely

in Crete-Heat. As does the 3/8 Watts Onix. With Onix there is no problem keeping the loops down, same with PAP or FostaPex.

    also consider Creatherm panels

    www.creatherm.com

Same concept but more choices in thickness and R value.
