Oil usage meter?

Hi from a homeowner/ diy guy. Connect an ordinary 110v electric clock to the burner control. Make sure to connect it to the purple wire as this is the pump selinoid wire. By connecting it this way you'll get a more accurate reading as the pre and post cycle will be bypassed. Live/ Learn

Anybody?
Know of an inexpensive meter I can use to monitor oil fuel oil usage?0 -
hour meter
I have purchased a 24 vac hour meter from Allied Electronics for the low $20's.
I wired it to the control relay of my gas boiler.
You might buy a 115 vac version and wire it to the oil burner power leads. Just multiple the hours by the nozzle size (assuming you are running at the rated psi setting.)
Cheap and effective0
