Is there

an aquastat on the condensate line? Or worse, on the steam supply line? This is the common setup so that the unit will not blow cold air (as you likely know).

I have no idea what kind of system you have, so am just guessing here, to be honest.

If the aquastat is in the wrong location (on a return line which is hotter than it should be or on the supply line upstream of the control valve, hey this has happened), the fan will continue to run until it is April or May.

The fan may also be setup for constant airflow.

Is this a unit heater or air handler? If an air handler, it may be operating for ventilation purposes. Is the concern fan operation or fan operation with heating, such that the space temperature overshoots?

fan cont. to run after heat temp is reached

I have a newer rheem system with electric ac and heat with heat pump with honeywell vision pro 8320 t-stat. In ac mode when the temp is reached the fan blows for additional 90 sec and completely shuts off this is normal however in heat mode the fan cont. to blows even after the temp is reached and after the 90 sec after. i have to shut it down at circuit breaker for blower to stop and if i turn breaker back on it will begin to run again

Ckeck your thermostat

parameters. The 8000 series allows alot of diffrent parameters once you enter the setup mode. Access directions are in the installers manual not the homeowners. So if you dont have them, you will have to get them.Tony
