4 years ago i installed the honeywell thermostat at a residence i got a call from him 2 years after --wasn't working --he hadn't changed the batteries --asked him over the phone to change the batteries, walked him through the set-up --no complaints //// ---of course the units need to be used within their limits ---this particular 1 was in a house where he had just completely renovated, insulated, new tile floors, wainscoting on the walls --there was no way he was going to let me put holes in the walls, floors or anywhere else to run wires //it was 120 ft away from the panel in the boiler room --

    check

out Honeywell's new Red Link wireless.

I wasn't impressed w/ their old wireless stats, but that was 3 years ago, and neither were they b/c this is a whole new ball of wax running on a 900Mhz frequency.

Especially check out the "Personal Comfort Control". A hand held, touchscreen remote t-stat. I have had one in my hands and it is COOL!
