US Radiator Corporation Boiler/Furnace - what do I do now?

Dale the only real manual you will be able to find will be for the oil burner its self. The will be from beckett burner. THe boiler its self will require generic water boiler care. A new boiler is clearly in your future, no point driving that point. The old units do look pretty and impresive.
Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.

    US Radiator Corporation boiler/furnace

I bought a house built in the '50s with an addition in the '70s and it has a US Radiator Corporation boiler/furnace. Would someone please provide information (manuals, tuneup info, etc.) on this boiler/furnace? It is a great beautiful piece of machinery but I think I need something more efficient, either gas or oil.
    Thank you for your help.

since it's a hot water heating system,I don't think any steam book no matter how good will be of any use! Dale,You need a new boiler.

  • "Thanks, Robert"...says Rod with embarrassed red face.

Believe it or not I actually looked at the pictures of the boiler and saw that it was hot water. Then I guess I just got caught up in the beauty of the boiler and since it reminded me of my old steam boiler (which I wish now that I had never got rid of), I guess my brain switched to steam.

Dale- Sorry for adding to the confusion.
