Burnham CI baseboard

Installed 18' of Burnham 9A c.I. baseboard. Complaint was that every other day baseboard would get air logged and needed to be bled. Had no choice due to construction but to pipe into same side of baseboard. Feed in bottom, return out the top. Original complaint was that every other day baseboard would get air bound. Installed a piece of 1/2" O.D. piping 17' into radiator. Now baseboard gets hot , however customer complains that baseboard has a lot of noise (Swishing) and still needs to be bled. How do I correct situation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dan

    piping arrangement

You could have run one circuit inside rear of baseboard to get connections on opposite sides for proper circulation . 3/4 " copper fits inside rear of radiation

Not a good idea, this will plague you with air locking and poor

circulation through radiator. I hate to say it, but pipe change in order. Good luck, Tim

Do you have any air vents on this section of BB?

    Pumping away?

There are rad vlvs made for this exact situation with feed-tube and return combined in the same port. That would allow for auto-vents on both ends on the upper side taps.

A slight tilt towards the air vent will aid in getting out the air. Pumping away should eliminate the repeated air-locks.

    Sounds more like

a piping issue than a product problem. If they had air originally why would changing to cast iron help?

    What is the piping design?
