Condensation

It seems that condensation on the outside of the PVC air intake ran down into the control housing, soaked everything, and ruined the board. Anybody have a similar problem?

Point of Clarification Please?
If the condensation you observe is on the outside of the PVC, naturally one would expect a combination of "very cold outside air" coupled to "very humid ambient conditions" to make that possible.
In other words, if it is "not so cold out", the inside RH has to be extraordinarily high (something to address). If the outside is blisteringly cold, you can get condensation with much lower RH's we all know.
Now, forgetting the outside surface, I have to ask: Is the condensation coming down the INSIDE surface, between the exhaust pipe and the concentric outer pipe? If so, I sense a dangerous condition of exhaust gas leakage between the two, carrying associated moisture and a direct path back into the boiler.
Getting enough condensate outside of the outer tube to inside the unit has me thinking, "that does not seem like enough gap to get that much moisture".
Please check it out, would you?0
