Becket heat manager w/a set back thermostat?

In a hot water baseboard system I have had a Becket Heat manager installed this season. Now I'm wondering if its compatible with the setback thermostat there? Does the set back mess up the logic process of the BHM?

I may not be the best person to answer this question as I have not installed may Heat Managers, but my understanding of the device is that on a call for heat from the thermostat the heat manager check the senor to see if there is any residual heat in the boiler from the last time the burner ran. If there is no residual heat, the burner runs as normal.
Using a set back thermostat should not affect the functionality of the Heat Manager at all.
