Amigos,
Firt, thanks to those of you that responded to my questions about solar controls.
I've got a new question: My Honeywell T822D 1008 Thermostat has a visible red wire (not the one attached to the mercury bubble) that is fastened to the rear of the spring mechanism a threaded port that is visible with the cover plate removed. The port has an "R" next to it. What is the effect of removing the red wire from the port?
