is that its both a left brain and right brain thing. Seems to me you're now fully equipped to handle any steam problem that comes along:-)

After sorting thru the boxes of old magazines and books, I found my cherished 1st " The Lost Art of Steam Heat" book with Dan's short note to me. I thought I "lost" it from lending to someone and ordered another one... Now I'm proud to say that I have two, one for each hand.

    Me too!

I have 2 copies as well. Of course I can't seem to find either. I think they walked off my desk.

Guess what I'll be getting myself for Christmas!

    Somewhere out there....

is another copy of "TLAOSH", a copy of "EDR" and "We Got Steam Heat!"... but then, it is good to have extra copies around. Home, Office and Home Office...

Needless to say, the "Steamy Deal", the Lost Art even by itself and Pat Linhart's 'Field Guide to Steam Heating' make excellent and always-appreciated gifts... to friends, colleagues, clients and of course, for the forgetful amongst us, "ourselves".

    p.s.:

Apropos of nothing, when you have young women in your household in a town where, "Our Bodies, Ourselves" is the standard "Health Class" text book, it can be demonstrated that if you replace it "by mistake" with "The Lost Art of Steam Heating", very little happens... I suspect that normal shyness may play a role, but on the other hand, there is fundamentally many similarities between the books.

Question 2 passing in MA has no bearing on this posting.

    ????

    Are you SURE Brad?

You'll have your hands full in no time. Getting the girls a copy of We Got Steam, might be good for them! Chris
