circulator pump orientation

I am in the process of making some changes on an existing monoflow T loop system, it looks like it was installed in the 1960s or so. The venturi Ts are currently set up so that the CI radiator(s) return water is upstream from each corresponding venturi T. The return Ts are the regular type without a venturi. Is that something that was done by mistake?
Also, the system is currently pumping to the boiler and I want to pump away. In order for me to make this change I was going to relocate the Taco 007 pump, however in doing so I would need to mount the pump in a horizontal run. Is this OK to do with this pump?
Thanks in advance.

Venturi
Yes the tee's were installed on the return riser of the radiator....
You can install the circulator on the horizontal . Just make sure the motor is on the horizontal too. You can point it up if you maintain a high system pressure but if it were me I would not . Who want to....
