Primary/Secondary Piping
Hello, I working on coming up with a new piping layout that combines a cast iron oil boiler, a gas modcon, and a distribution system of zone valves/fin tube.
In all the layouts I've seen so far, the closely spaced T's of the secondary circuits are on the suction side of the primary circulator.
In designing the piping for this setup, it would work best for the secondary circuit T's to be on the pressure side of the primary circulators. Does this pose any problems?
Below is a diagram of my piping idea. Everything in the diagram will be mounted on a wall. The five pipes going up to the top of the diagram will cross the ceiling and go to the oil boiler/zone valve manifold which is in the middle of the room.
Thanks for any insight,

I'd be thinking something more like this

My radiant in the floor has the same arrangement you are describing. I have no problems or see no major issues but then again I'm not the smartest guy around.0
