i have had good luck with my honeywell visionpro, but i don't know whether it will work as a millivolt control.it does have the advantage of not having an anticipator; but instead the "steam cycles per hour" can be set--nbc

My plumber suggested that I put an actuated programmable thermostat on my steam heating system. I can't locate a company that makes this model,. Currently I have a double set back ( mechanical) White Rogers millivolt thermostat from about 1990. Do you know what he is talking about and who makes these?0 -
I have no idea what an actuated programmable thermostat is. I think he made it up. The thermostat you have should be fine!0
