Just thinking about it as I was typing. We are talking with someone in Belgium, via words, pictures etc. It amazes me we are communicating with people 1000s of miles away, 8 hrs difference in time and we are able to help someone who spent the time to find us here. I just want to thank Dan for this and everyone else here that contributes. Tim

    Thanks!

And I happen to be answering you from Paris, where Marianne and I are right now. I've got a bit of business tomorrow, but the rest is just fun.

We've decided not to participate in this particular recession. Can't afford to. :-)
    Retired and loving it.
  • LE TRAIN BLEU

if you are looking for a spectacular restaurant with steam associations, go to the gare du nord station and dine at le train bleu[featured in the movie "la femme nikita"]
last time i was there an old steam train was waiting to pick up a ceremonial vip party.

Dan, you're telling me that the pdf copy of "Balancing Steam
Systems" that you sent me today is a French version? Wow, I should have have you sign it. It's a Limited Edition.
I'm jealous of all the good bread you're eating. Have a great time.

    Dan; The French...

... have made some really pretty water heaters. Keep an eye out for them as you chew on rolls, still warm from the oven ;~)

    Yours, Larry

    While you're there

Try the cheese course at Les Bouchons de Francois Clerchttp://www.bouchonsdefrancoisclerc.com/images/home/001d_17.jpg
You will not be disappointed. You may however, need to enlist help from the hotel concierge.

The Wall is invaluable for novices. After reading Dan's books and getting hooked on steam heat -- there is a constant flood of questions that come to mind -- it's so nice to be able to hear from experts on these mysteries of dead men.
