Heating or warming

Is there a difference between "radiant heating" and/or "floor warming"?

from a control standpoint, basically. That's where your slab sensor is critical. Floor "conditioning" assumes the room is heated by other sources, so ambient sensing won't do the job.
You have to jump thru all the design hoops either way to see criteria for material quantity, loop layout, water temps, flow rates, etc. Just think radiant floor heat only background noise...
Of course, red flags for supplemental that may come up at design can not be taken as seriously (but kept in the back of your head if they are dropping a 2" shag down over the floor:)
Also, control strategy can be simplified for conditioning, i.e. simple three way mix (fixed).
For me, it's the same amount of work to get there. How many times have you heard "oh, I just want to take the edge off the floor.." Still have to design it.0
