    Just got 1st full month fuel use back on church conversion

    Was happy to see the fuel savings, appx 30% savings. Original system was a steel firetube steam boiler 1960s 3 pass with a steam to water heat exchanger for a 1960 sanctuary and lower classroom floor and a steam zone for a 1908 original sanctuary & lower class floor also. appx 1.2 million btu. I pulled the steam boiler and heat exchanger and put in 2 TT condensing boilers for the more current sanctuary/classroom building and put a small atmospheric steamer in for original sanctuary. Losing the heat exchanger completely. Happy with the outcome. Tim looks like appx 6-8 yr payback.
