control problem with burnham scg gas boiler
I started a burnham scg gas boiler today and it runs continuously without any call for heat, tt disconnected and it only shuts down by the hi limit control.
I replaced the combo transformer/relay, honeywell R8285D, still the same problem. The blower relay pulls in as soon as the boiler is energized and the boiler fires up. It seems that there may be a problem with the factory control wiring. Any suggestions.

t stat
so you replaced the fan center..make sure with your meter that the t-stat isnt calling between terminals r and g ... the problem has to be at that point ..unless there are some serious wiring issues and you need to get a pro0 -
The t-stat wires are disconnected from the relay and it still cycles.0 -
????
when you replaced that control did you replace the relay that was in it too??0 -
I put the original control back in and I have the same problem. The customer has heat for the weekend and I'll be back there Monday to check the voltage at the y terminal. thanks for the input.0
