Pulling mice

the ferrets would do some sort of screwing around back in there, get tangled up in the string, starve to death over the period of a week and stink... causing distressing memories.

Much like we'll probably all have now that I've brought it up.

You're welcome.

    Pulling Mice

Anyone know where I can get some pulling mice to pull linesets through the atic. Could also use some mineing rats. Because this buliding used to be part of the castle the historic socity got involved. any linesets on the building I have to bury in the stucco.
  • Unfortunately,,,

I had my 15th confirmed mouse kill about 1/2 an hour ago here. If I knew you needed them I would have captured them alive and certainly forwarded them to you. My apologies. ;)

How about a skimming mouse? let him in the tapping and he swims around with some terrycloth.

    feret's

There are some feret's trained to do exactly that. Perhaps an internet search would find them for you. The are trained to use a harness that connects to a string they then go thru pulling the string with them. when they come out you pull in a stronger line and then you could pull the line set. Their string is marked so measure is assured.
    Good luck!

I once pulled a new thermostat wire the length of an attic...close to sixty feet with a kids toy remote control tank...we thought were pretty clever!

    Work horses....

    Hungry hairless Chihuahua's.

Or there's the Miniature Weiner dogs on steroids.

One of the co-inventors of the windows has a retired pulling pulling dog name Li'l Sparkie that fell through a rotten ceiling tile. I think he said he paid $5K dollars in vet bills to keep little Sparky alive...

I of course reminded him that you can get them for around $350.00 at the local PetzMart. He didn't see any humour in it...;-)

THis same guy has used cross bows to shoot tow lines for alarm pulls. Crazy stories about them going through ducts... out of ceilings and into filing cabinets, out of windows (broken by the dart), and so forth.

Maybe a trained Boa Constrictor... Turn on a light at the end of the tunnel. Use some female hormone scent.

Nah, I hate snakes.... I'll stick with trained Chihuahua's. My neighbor has a wild (domesticated) cross between a Chihuahua and Daschund. Can't remember if were supposed to call it a Chidashund (She Doc's un) or a Dachuachua (dock- wa-wa) Seriously confused puppy :-)_

    Mice

The ferrets eat the mice so now I use a vacuum cleaner and suck a sponge ball.If the pipe is reasonably clean
