Mass/Con Boilers

I don't think I would count it. My idea of a Mass/Con boiler is a tall cylinder or box that gives you all of the benefits I mentioned.

It is just my opinion but I think Mass/Con boilers are going to be the next big thing in the radiant industry. The benefits I see are numerous but especially in the simplification of hydronic systems. Here is what I see:
No short cycling,
Seamless integration of Solar and Domestic Hot Water,
No Hydraulic Separator required,
Takes Care of Air elimination,
ONE PUMP,
Less expensive
Now with that in mind.. Is anyone aware of anyone making them?0 -
Not here in MA or CT
Viessmann, DeDietrich and Buderus come to mind as those making higher water volume, higher mass modulating boilers. They do seem to strike the higher outputs though, large house sizes at least but certainly in the commercial lines that I can see.
Do you count Mestek's Ray boiler in that (to me yet undefined) category?0
