Free 10.5' rad in Central NJ

Looks like interest in a used radiators is modest at best, it may be off to the scrap heap for this one.

Free Rad in Central NJ ( Plainfield )

I have just removed a steam radiator from the ceiling of my garage and rather than scrap it would like to see it reused. It is approx 32" by 10.5 feet ( 9 sections composed of a 4 section unit and a 5 section unit ) Modest attempts to detach in into two pieces ( without cutting ) proved non-trivial. It had been up there 80 years with no leaks/cracks and as it has never been painted a coating of surface rust.

First party willing to pick it up ( for reuse not scrap ) can have it, just send me an Email. Apologies for the file size of the photos.

    radiator

That'd make a greta dump zone for a wood boiler, but no thanks- still a little too far for me.
I sold a whole bunch of cast iron on Craigslist last year to a guy who has a website & resells radiators all of the NE. There is someone out there that will want that
