Honeywell AQ475A Outdoor Reset Question

Fellow Wallies, can anyone recommend a programable T-stat to use with a Honeywell AQ475A Outdoor Reset? I am troubleshooting a situation where a standard T-stat (the old round Honeywell,) was replaced with a programable one from a big-box store. Since they installed it, (and I observed this myself,) without any change in room temp, the T-stat will call for heat for about 4-5 minutes, and be "satisfied." However, the output of the boiler only rises to about 100degrees F. The rads don't even get warm! I'm sure the new T-stat is defective, as after re-installing their old one this cycling has stopped, the boiler fires with a drop in temp and fires longer and less frequently. Also, no anticipator settings on the new one. I was wondering if there is one compatible with the Honeywell AQ475A Outdoor reset. Any thoughts or tips? Thanks Al

Do the same thing during recovery. Lets say it is 58 and I set the heat to 70, they will cycle on and off for about an hour. No big deal, I think it is the temperature rise that does it combined with the Auto cycle setting. If you set it to GAS or OIL instead of auto, they do not do this and remain on for the duration. However, after recovery they dont switch on and off so much in order to keep the temp steady. I prefer the unlimeted (auto) cycle setting.
