Veterans Day

Thank you to those who have served and protected our Country. Maybe its veterans day, Marines Birthday or that one of these Marines is my son. This file may have to be downloaded but I think its worth it. It shows Young Marines Graduating Boot Camp at San Diego. I have to watch every couple of months, it bring a tear and a smile. Lets pray and say Thank You everyday

    Remember our POW"s and MIA's.
Thanks to our vets who saw action, our present serving military and also our ready reserve.

    Just

Got off the phone with Ken Zindars my insurance agent. He is building a new home and as a fellow military family I am helping Ken with his plumbing and his in-floor sytem.
This is a tough day for Ken as he lost his son Matt in Ramadi, Iraq last July. Matt was on his second tour (one he volunteered for in order to let his married fellow Marines more leave time). Matt was simply a great kid who loved serving his country and loved the Marines.

We know the Zindars extremely well and know how they have sacrificed also. May all of us find time to pause and reflect on those who do so much for our country. Our heroes don't play sports or sing, they instead serve without question.

They all are special! As are all who have served, are serving or will serve this great country!

a VERY sad commentary on the state and culture of our country

I have checked in with friends across the States, so its not just Long Island. I was running around the Island all day, but Barbara took the Kinder to the Local ceremony in Our Town. 20,000 People....TWENTY residents at the VETS Parade. My children Honored them and the WW II, Korea, Nam, Gulf War Vets felt good, but IT WAS EMBARRASSING! America is in DEEP trouble because...like many p & H businesses that DAD or GRANDAD started, the present crop has become FAT, LAZY, self-centered and apathetic. GOD BLESS EVERY American man and woman who served. My Family and I LOVE and cherish you. To those who don't or sneer...YOU'll see........Mad Dog
