Carlin ez - pro burner kicks out

Weil Mclain gold with a carlin ez-pro burner, for no reason it will kick out and you have to reset it. It will start up and run several times in a row, then the next time kick out. It may run trouble free for a week to 4 months. Does it more so in the cooler months and winter. The system ran great the first 6 years. Its been serviced and had a new burner coupling installed. Still kicks out. Any thoughts?

    call your service provider

Call your oil co or service provider could be just about any thing from a dead spot on the burner motor to clogged fuel lines or binding fuel pumP.If you have a service contract with you oil supplier then have them come and fix it if not then call your service provider and hopefully they will repair it on another note having a service contract usually will cover most burner parts and at about 6 years old using the sysytem for both heat and domestic hot water it could be cheaper to get the yearly cleaning and contract and have your burner covered instead of paying it as things go ,just a thoufgt peace and good luck clammy

It can be any number of things. I hate to be so vague but there's more than a dozen things that can cause that. Call your service company and ask for their best tech.

If I were the tech you called, after listening to your story, one of the things I'd check would be the burner motor.
