Timco:

Bribe a guard, then get to the mechanical room.

Do not take pictures or wear funny head gear.

We have a 2 hour layover in chicago tomorrow. Any suggestions for a good place to eat or something to see close to O'hare?

After the flight attendant gives her speech and asks if there are any questions, I was going to ask if I could see the plane's boilers...

    Agreed on the big equipment...

    That does it,

    Wrong button.

I want to see the jet boilers.

I want to ask to become a bank holding company just like American Express. Times are changing we can go back to coal fired steam.

    Night Tim safe flight.

    Don't leave the airport

I travel to Chicago often since that is where Wilo's USA office is located.

I do not recommend leaving O'Hare. You would have to go through security when you got back to the airport and THAT can be an ordeal at O'Hare.

I doubt a taxi would be able to get you to a decent place to eat and back again in time for your connection. Not to mention the $60 round trip. It costs $30 to go anywhere by taxi in Chicago.

Take snap shots as your flying out of O'Hare.

However, if timing is right and you have much longer layover, you can go to Allstate Arena, 5 mins from O'hare to watch the Wolves hockey. They were last year champs.
