    fitting new radiators

hi, i have 2 small new radiators that i want to add to my existing back boiler system. My initial idea was to just extend the flow and return pipes and by using T peices to pop up pipes for the radiators at fitting points, have been told that although possible this should really be done by taking a T of the primary pipe. Now my problem is knowing which pipe is the primary one, under the floor is just a mass of pipes. Should i follow a pipe from an existing radiator to the pipe it joins, will that be the primary pipe that feeds them. Also we have two radiators that have the valve at the top, this makes the long pipe up the side of the radiator very unsightly, can this be changed to the bottom or is there a reason that it cannot be done.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks
