hello, I have a guy calling wanting an EBP110. He has a Heatmaker HW now and has nothing for extra room.

Are these things any good? I'm not looking for trouble, so please lay it out for me, email direct if need be

Laars had some issues in the past with their Endurance which you may hear about, but seem to have got the kinks of this product worked out. Good Space-Saver!

I have had great results repairing the units with 'issues' in their boards, ect. Have not had a call for a new unit, but Laars has always been there for me and has been a huge help. The units I work on are more commercial snow melt & DHW making units...and they are rock solid...

I have an older model and it works very very well. It is a pretty effecient unit I must say. I had some issues but Laars has always taken care of the problem. I can always call Jay who is one of the Service managers and he will always walk me through to fix the problem. The Anti condensing valve acts up every now and then.

The new units (grey jacket) have been redesigned and don't have the same problems. The boiler has new controls and the anti condensing valve has been changed to a zone valve.

Over all the unit has been trouble free. From what I have heard the new units are even better and virtually trouble free.
