Sprinter Opinions

The pre-2007 sprinters had lots of brake problems. They also had computer problems. My 2007 cab chassis with Spartan utility body has about 17000 miles. No problems at all except mistakes made by Spartan that cause me to have two error messages about marker lamps and backup lights. They cheaped out and only installed two markers and one backup. I believe because of the missing lights the truck thinks a bulb or two is out. I have it 80% stocked right now and it weighs around 9500 Lbs. I'm averaging 14-15 MPG. I can get 17-18 highway if I take it easy. Great Truck. Tom

Sprinter Opinions
Okay, did a search for Sprinters. Looking at a 2006 shorty with high roof. In the 70K+- mileage. Things that happen then?
What do you think? Should I save up for the V-6 Diesel?

high opinion of diesel
in my opinion anyone with a sprinter looks like a real pro, no matter what the profession. diesel is the way of the future and should have been all along!--nbc0 -
I love the truck
The space, the head room, the tightness of the cornering and the tighness of the vehicle.
I hate the doors and the cheap sheet metal frames they sit in.

I've had mine since 2005 and I love it!! I run the larger wheelbase with the dual rear wheels and I still get 19-20mpg! Awesome vehicle. There was an error rendering this rich post.
