need help hooking up booter fan to variable speed furnance

Would that not defeat the purpose as to why you purchase the variable speed motor in the first place?

I think if all possible you would be better off at changing the duct work.

You could add a relay if your t-stat bring on the fan and both heat/cool mode.

IMHO..I think what you are about to do is nothing more then a bandaid.

    VS furnaces power the line voltage to the motor constantly and the electronics tells it when to come on & off.

    I would think the furnace would have an EAC terminal putting out 120V anytime the board energizes the blower. Put a relay with a 120V coil on those terminals to turn on & off your booster.

    Do you

    need only in heating mode? use the HUM (humidifier term).

    EAC should only be powered when the blower running. Not a steady 120.
