Vaporstat
Is it cycling with the Vaporstat? Or with the anticipator on the thermostat?0 -
What about..............
........the ever popular quick vents? If they're slow then the steam pressure at the boiler could rise to 8 oz. shut down and wait for the pressure to vent. test the vents0 -

Vaporstat
Cycling on the Vaporstat before set temp suggests first that air can't get out of the system. Check your end of main vents.0 -
If it's a two pipe system with vents on the radiators then you don't need a vaporstat. you can use a pressuretrol and operate at 1 1/2 psi. Two pipe with vents and wet returns is not a vapor system.
