    Sundry Material

What is it you are trying to submit for?

We as engineers usually look for SMACNA standards applicable to the project, types of fittings to be used and the material.

But the material itself as a stand-alone submittal?

Things we would look for in general:

Gauge of metal (you got that), alternately expressed in decimal inches because of various gauge standards (US Gauge, B&S, etc.). In the case of 24GA in US Gauge, that would be 0.028".

Weight would be 1.156 PSF and thus 37.0 pounds per 4x8 sheet.

The degree of galvanizing is key also, G-60, G-90, G-120, etc. with each "60" meaning an ounce of zinc per SF of a sheet, IIRC.

G-60 is the least amount, G-90 is more standard in many shops to keep inventory down.

The ASTM numbers are A 924 for sheetmetal and A 653 for the galvanized finish.
