Hot Water Rad Not Hot

Could one of the hot water experts out there give me some hints about why one of my Rad's is not heating up. It's in an addition at the back of the first floor of my building. There are two rooms there - side by side. The rad in one works fine but the other shows no sign of life. All the rads on the second and third floor work fine. It's a gas fired hot water system with a circulating pump. Is there anything I can check out before calling in a pro? (By the way - can anyone recommend a book like Dan's "The Lost Art..." but for hot water systems?)
Thanks

Could be air problem or something you might not want to hear, piping installed wrong, ouch that hurts.

Pumping Away deals with near-boiler piping. As for the rad, was it ever working? New addition? ANY heat? I have seen both sides of a rad connected to the supply or return, rather than one supply & one return. Maybe one has full-size 1" or 1.25" connections and one is only 1/2" connections so the flow is all going through the larger connected rad? Air?

    Air?

Thanks for the responses. I hope it's just air but I'm not sure if it's ever had heat. My tenants have never complained until a couple of years ago and we've been putting a space heater in there since. I'll cross my fingers!

    Thanks again
