Caleffi solar lineset

I am routing the lineset from the mechanical room into the attic. At the point where I enter the attic I have about 6 feet to the supply connection and 13 feet to the return.
Would you seperate the supply and return and cut 7 feet off the supply pipe or would you just leave them both 13 feet and make the connections?
Just curious if I need to be worried about balanced flow.

Either option will work but I would say to cut off the excess tube. It will cut down on the total hydraulic resistance that the circulator has to overcome. Typically all of the pre-made pump stations has a valve to set the system to desired flow rate which is the real concern here.

cut it
carefully with a tubing cutter and light pressure. It is razor sharp if you get a jagged cut.
As Darin mentioned it will eliminate some pressure drop, heat loss, fluid capacity, etc.
Use the short lengths for relief discharge lines, for example.
