Dirt Separators on Mod/Con

Reviewing my GB142 install manual and see that a retrofit requires a dirt separator.
Thinking about this, I think it is a wise idea on ANY mod con boiler with a narrow/tight heat exchanger (Alpine/Freedom/Ultra/Munchkin/Knight, Triangle Tube, etc)

I did some research and bought a Spirotrap Dirt Eliminator, works GREAT!

Never knew these mod/con's were so sensitive to dirt but certainly grasp the issue at hand. Dirt can plug these boilers rather quick or easy and then we will be left holding the bag because we didn't install it according to the manual....

Thought you guys may want a nickles worth of advice:
Install one of these on ALL mod/con jobs and save the hassle of a potential problem.....
