Modern Turkish Space Heating

In hotel near ancient city of Pammukale, Turkey. (Can't remember the name of the modern city.)
Fairly far inland and while hot in the summer, it does get quite cold in the winter--especially at night. LOTS of natural geothermal activity around the city. Panel rad connected with simple valves at both supply and return--no TRVs.
Welded steel piping! Note the auto? air vent at the top of the main supply? piping. Air vent on rad as well.
