This old tankless boiler sat right behind the living room and kitchen and they could hear everytime it started. He came into the room and asked when I was going to start the Vitodens. I told him it was running at high fire to recover the indirect. His words "The silence is deafening!".
Fire away.

Nothing but quality,
I think you should bring some of that diamond plate to Cleveland, Great looking job!!!!0 -
Cables
Can I ask what cable you are wiring the pumps with?0 -
Sure.
The pump wiring is 16-3 SJOOW cable.0 -
I notice
AL294C venting. Choice or revised Vitodens venting requirement? Haven't they been vented with PVC as a rule?0 -
Nice install
Nice and neat. I like the use of the hydrolink. What type of emmitters does this house have? What made you use all of the Taco 007's? I have never seen a Viessmann vented like that before, Is that approved?0 -
The 007s were..........
.....already there and worked. I pumped in Rhomar 9100 and let is circulate for a few days to make sure things were clean.
Yes, the stainless steel venting (Z-Flex)is approved by Viessmann. They do not, however, approve PVC for their vent. IPEX CPVC has been OKed by them. I generally use the coaxial vent, but I only had a little room to core the wall.0 -
showing why you are the king
Sweet work dude, I agree, the diamond plate has been missing.
So your taking make up air form the room and thats O.K. with Viessmann ? Who cored the hole ?
Nice work as always. See now one my jobs they tell me I am using too many pumps. I think it looks great and I really like the heatlink.

I used the pumps.....
....that were already there, Scott. I would have chosen zone valves if it was new or the pumps were junk.
Plenty of air availble for the boiler,so I don't see any issue there.
I have a guy who works for G&S Fasteners who just drills holes through concrete/stone.0
