Hot, Flat and Crowded

That's the title of a new book graciously loaned to me by Richard Trethewey of "This old House" fame. Richard had a few copies and handed me one and said, "Joel you've gotta read this"

It was writtten by Thomas Friedman the guy who wrote "The World is Flat" about the I.T. revolution a few years back.

in this book he discusses what he calls the E.T. or Energy Technology revolution which in many ways will be,no HAS to be bigger than the I.T. revolution if the way we live is going to survive.

Who can be at the forefront of that? You and me guys,and you know what we can make money doing it,saving the planet one house at a time. So i say the same thing you've gotta read this book and be inspired. I'm tired of this doom and gloom the buisness stinks talk everytime i walk into trade association meeting.

I looked it up on Amazon.com. It had drawings of nekid women on the front. That was enough for me. I ordered a copy right away. All kidding aside. I am interested in the topic and look forward to reading it. Let me know if you like it. WW
