Do I drain my tank?

I recently installed a closed loop solar hot water heater and I heat my house with wood pellets. I've turned off my oil sucking furnace. My indirect 50 gallon tank is still full of water. I flushed it today but I'm wondering if I should drain it completely or leave it full. I won't be using it at all unless it's a emergency. If I drain it, I may possibly leave the drain and the relief valve open. Maybe the tank would eventualy dry out. Thanks for your comments.

Drain or not to drain
Biggest reason to drain is that the water will go stale. Yuck not that your going to drink it, but drain it none the less. It doesn't take long to refill.0 -
Thanks Joe. I'll drain it unless anyone else out there have any other suggestions!!!0 -
What Joe said.
Definitely drain it!! You don't want all that water just sitting there going stagnant.
