To Fill or Not to Fill

Guys,
I am starting my steam system for the season. Everything is working well, however the sight glass on the LWCO is showing signs of rusty water. I didnt expect it to be clear.
I read from past posts that changing a lot of water would accelerate the life of the boiler. Whats the best way to get the water back to a clearer condition?
Thanks,
Irv

There is a small drain valve on the bottom of the lower sight glass holder. Open it and see if the rusty water drains out and clears up before draining or skimming.
