qualifications for boiler contractors
Hello,
I want to replace my steam boiler.
Are there professional certifications that I should look for to find a qualified contractor? Besides asking for references how do I know if someone is qualified? Should someone be NATE certified or ACCA certified or have demonstrated their ability with other certifications?
Thanks

NATE is a good place to start, but being in chicagomyself as a Wolesaler I can tell you that there not to many contractors that are NATE certified in hydronics. Mostly there are certified in forced air and a/c. What part of Chicago are you from? I could recommend some good steam guys depending on location.0 -
I am on the southwest side near Midway Airport0
