Biasi B-10 Series Wiring

Was wondering if alternatives exist for locating the aquastat on a Biasi boiler(B-4)? The immersion well on this unit is quite close to the vent(in the rear). Is there an adapter kit with a long temp. probe pigtail and well clip that would allow for mounting the control up towards the front side? Thanks for any info!

I noticed the same on my B10. I plugged the stock well and came out the supply with a 3" nipple to a 90 EL to ran vertical with a 4" nipple and finally a 1.5 x 1.5 x .75 tee where I mounted an Electrowell and Hydrolevel 3150 combination aquastat/LWCO.

Did your B10 ship with a L4006 or a 7248?? If you have the 4006 and would like the extra features of a 7248, I have mine for sale, brand new.

    The

7248 that comes with the B10 can be remote mounted.I'd be very leery of removing the limit control from it's OEM position in the boiler. What happens when a circ goes bad with the limit 8" from the boiler?

Even with a bad circ, do you really think the temp diff between the boiler casting and a pipe 8 inches away from the boiler is going to be night and day???

Sure, it might be slightly different, but I don't think we are talking enough to be an issue. Look at the Utica Trifire and an example, they mount the 7248 on the riser comming out of the boiler and I believe the Burnham MPO has the same configuration as well.
