From the floor to the top of the section. Are you using Dan's book EDR ?

    Measuring an existing radiator

    When measuring existing radiators to size a replacement boiler, do you measure the radiators height from the floor to the top of the section or from the bottom of the section to the top of the section?

    Big Ed, Thank you for the response I really appreicate it. I do not have Dans' book on EDR, all I have is 'Lost Art' and it's 'Companion'.

    Mike, Thank you for the web site link it is and is going to be very helpful.

    Thanks again to you both! I am filling in on a project for some one in our office and this is not my forte. I will be able to give him a good head start.
