tapping off a radiator to run baseboard

i need 2 run a piece of baseboard in a room where theres a radiator in the room next to it. only going to be like a 8 foot piece but im not to sure im correct on how 2 run it. you would have to tee off the supply side of the radiator for the supply of the baseboard and tee off the radiator on the return side for the the return of the baseboard is this correct??
