Looking for a diverter valve

Thanks for the fast reply Andrew. I am pushing about 14GPM through the primary, perhaps more. I am looking to put about 150k Btuh into the GARN from the propane fired heater. I'm trying to keep a delta T in the primary between 20 and 30 deg.

I am not sure if that Belimo is going to do what I want. I want to have the bypass on the leg of the Tee, so that circuit has flow normally along the top of the Tee, then when the valve is actuated, flow is diverted to turn down the leg of the Tee.

Hope that makes sense.

    Looking for a diverter valve

This is my first post to this incredible resources. I did try and search for an answer to my question, but without success.

I am fitting up my GARN hyrdonic wood fired boiler primary loop. I want to incorporate a bypass loop to an HX for a backup propane fired heat source. I need a controlled 3-way diverter with 1.5" fittings. This valve will normally bypass the HX loop until the return water drops below a specified point.

Can anyone recommend a source for one of these? I checked the TACO site and found electronic ball valves, but no diverters.

    Thanks.

    Flow Rate

If your flow rate will allow, you could possible reduce to 1" at the valve if a Cv of 8.0 will work for you. The valve will definitely be less expensive. Belimo 3-way Valve
