Oil prices - High 3.699, Low 3.29, Average 3.543.

Over the weekend we had a gas station that hit 2.89 for regular for a very short time. The other day the lowest I saw was 3.03.

Gas war.........

we have 2 stations within a mile of each other that keep trying to underprice each other. I went by them this morning and one was $2.83 and the other was $2.85, within an hour and a half both had dropped another 8 cents down to $2.71 and $2.73..........you should see the lines!

#2 oil is a low of $3.38 a gallon, with a therm of natural gas at $1.0403 a therm with a delivery charge of $1.24130 a therm.

With a 117 therms used I payed $208.70

Here Oil is $3.70 a gallon for #2. Natural gas is 90 cents a therm including delivery. LPis $2.25 a gallon. I stuck a Natural gas conversion burner in my boiler this summer. I like oil heat better, but not at 4 times the cost. I'm not that retarded! This is in Wisconsin. Why is gas in MA $2.30 a therm delivered when mine is only .90 cents? I wonder what's up with that. Sounds like your utility is bending you over a little bit

Natural gas is so much here in MA. because much of it is delivered by tanker, which of course runs on diesel.

We are about a 1.48 all costs included per therm

here in Seattle. #2 oil I think is around 3.50/gals but need to verify that. The nat gas price is based on my summer useage which is quite low so raises the avg cost per therm. Normal rate will be closer to 1.30/therm in winter.

Not here but because of fixed costs and lower useage in

summer the avg price per therm is effected. Tim
