add btu's for the indirect.... unless you have a very large demand. ie. whirlpool, carwash shower, 3 teenage kids.

boiler sixze w/ indirect hw
I'll be installing a new boiler soon. I did my heatloss. My house according to ibr h22 and Slantfin HE is 40,000 btu's.Radiation measures out to 50000.Currently running 100000 with a coil for dhw. I was thinking of using a burnham mpo84 or mpo115. mpo84 = 64000 btu mpo115 = 85000 I want to add idirect hw heater. Do I need to add any btu's for it. they all show 1st hour ratings with 100000 btu.I'll be running it in priority and an outdoor reset(tekmar 260).I want to leave a little room for an addition while not oversizng to much.0
