in THE MAIN WALL
Is the check valve in the main return at the boiler, or does each radiator have its own? Do the radiators discharge into dry returns or wet returns? How is the air vented from this system?

    steam piping

    I have a 5 story factory type building the radiators { MANY] are built up[ 1 1/2" riser and return with multiple 1 1/4" pipes off of a manifold. There is a check valve at the end in the return. It's a 2 pipe system with no vaccuum pump. Enough info? Do we replace checks with steam traps?
